Home Business Trading Forex: Forex Trading Robots Reviewed

By Phil Jarvie

Most of us would work from home if we could. With the Global recession, millions of people now have no choice but to work from home. Forex trading could be just the opportunity you have been looking for. Can't wrap your head around it? Let me explain it then. All of the World's larger currencies must be exchanged so that International trade can happen. The market price a currency is worth is decided by the supply and demand pressures the forex market exerts. This market pressure all comes down to how many buyers and sellers are in the market for a currency at any time. These buyers and sellers are matched with each other by banks and brokers. Software is what allows all traders to meet through their broker or bank. Some forex software is automatic, some is manual.

Does it take much money to get started? No, $500 plus software costs is enough. Of course the more money you have the better and $10,000 would be a great start. But $500 is fine too - depending on the software robot. When you say add 5% compound profits to your $500 start you will have $1,000 in just 15 trading days. Do that again and you have $2,000 within 30 trading days. And so on and so forth. The trick or key to success is to select the right software, and to help you with that choice it is important to find the right product-review website to research which is best for you.

Which is the biggest software robot on the market? Without question it is called Fap Turbo. 37,000 users have bought this forex robot over the past 9 years and it really is the industry heavy-weight. Fap Winner is the additional package you must buy as it gives Fap Turbo and Fap users the best insights and settings to use to get the best profits out of them in changing market conditions. As the biggest, you will definitely need this expert advisor forex robot in your tool kit. But there is more.

Forex Maestro has been around in the market now for about 4 months. there has been much argument about who developed it and if any rules were broken by the vendor in terms of did he have permission to sell it, is it an exact copy of another forex robot, etc. Some forex forums canned Maestro on the grounds that it was released without consent, but interestingly the alleged programmer has never come forward nor ever complained his work was copied. Certainly Clickbank have been allowing it to sell on their network without drama. It is a strong performer, and you may want to consider it for your toolkit of forex software programs.

A lesser known forex robot is called the Forex Funnel. All forex vendors have tacky sales pages, and this one is no different. But after you get past to high pressure sales tactics and sales hype, this robot a serious tool. It is designed to operate on larger trading accounts, and it is not for beginners. You should have at least $5,000 in your trading account, and because it is aggressive when it gets going, I recommend it only for experienced players. If you are new to forex trading, then come back to have another look at this robot in 6 months time.

The trick to making the right decision for you is to find a very good review website that will openly and honestly talk about and compare all the main forex robot products available. You must get past the hype and high pressure sales tactics of the vendors and find someone with years of experience who has bothered to explain them all to you. Good reviews are not reviews that try to sell you on an expert advisor. Good reviews are ones that only talk about the facts, honestly pointing out the pros and cons of each, and advise you as to what level of trading experience you should have to use it.

The temptation is to fall victim to the sales claims made by the forex robot vendors. Remember they are not your friend. Remember that much of what they claim is lies and fluff designed to trap you into their web. Know that they are appealing to your/human greed and laziness. Of course everyone wants fast, lazy and huge profits. But being realistic, if all their claims were true then they don't need to sell you anything - they could simply use their own forex software to compound profits into many tens of millions of dollars. Be smart about this and you will soon have a new career as a forex trader. First thing is first. You have some things to learn first. - 23218

Understanding Candlestick Patterns (Part I)

By Ahmad Hassam

Candlestick patterns can reveal a lot about the underlying market sentiments. Using one of these candlestick patterns without knowing about the previous trends wouldnt be very useful. Based only on the market activity of the previous few days, most candlestick patterns are valid. For instance, some of the candlestick patterns indicate a change in trend.

When you spot and identify a particular candlestick pattern you should take it as a signal that something is going to happen to the market in the near future. What you should do based on that candlestick pattern depends on the context. Usually the context in which you find the candlestick pattern tells you a great deal about them. Lets consider simple candlestick patterns first.

The Bullish White Marubozu: It represents the day when bulls control the market and push prices higher from the opening to the closing. The longest white candle is the most bullish of the candlestick patterns. Chances are the bulls will be back for more buying the following day with the long white candle closing near the high.

This means that buying has been taking place all the day. The low price on the candlestick is a good support level with the long white candle. One common feature of the long white candle is an opening price near the low of the day and a closing price near the high of the day.

The Bullish Dragonfly Doji: For a Doji to be created, a day must begin and end with the same price. A Doji is formed when the opening and the closing prices are the same. So essentially there is no stick in the candlestick.

Doji patterns are usually associated with a market turn. A Doji may not look very exciting to you. But dont be fooled. Doji depicts a day where the battle between the bulls and the bears has been fairly equal. A market turn is highly likely the next trading day.

The price action depicted by the Dragonfly Doji bodes very well for those hoping that prices go higher. The low of the Dragonfly Doji day is considered a near term support level. A Dragonfly Doji is unique in that three of the four candlestick patterns- the open, high and the close are all equal. You can make smart trades based on the Dragonfly Dojis.

The Bearish Long Black Candle: The long black candle is the direct counterpart of the long white candle discussed earlier. The long black candle is as bearish as it gets. It means that sellers take over at the beginning of the day and push prices lower and lower until the end of the day.

These sellers are selling just to get out of their trades. Price sensitivity is very low for these sellers. Seeing this type of enthusiastic selling must give you the confidence that the bears will be in control for a few more days after the appearance of the long black candle. You can capitalize on this fact. The long black candlestick pattern is a good bearish signal. - 23218

Global Macro and Commodity Trading

By Jay Hammer

While most people think of commodity traders as just a bunch of guys in Chicago the truth is that many different types of investors participate in the commodity markets. Obviously we have floor traders but we also have several types of upstairs traders.

One of the main types of upstairs traders in the commodity markets are the CTA or commodity trading advisors. They typically do a lot of long term trend following. The second major commodity trader is the global macro trader.

Global macro traders are the next major group of players in the commodity markets. Some are heavily involved and some barely trade them but all macro traders track the commodity markets to give them a better look into the worlds macro economic situation.

For instance if oil is rising like we saw in 2008 then you have to look to see what businesses are going to get hurt and what will benefit from higher oil prices. Obviously oil companies will make more money but what about shorting airlines? Or maybe even going long railroad companies. As you can tell there are endless ideas of who is affected and who is not.

Another heavily monitored sector is that of precious metals. Gold and silver are great historic gauges of inflation and these days also act as alternative currencies since the Fiat currencies are all in shambles. If you aren't following gold then good luck trading bonds and the US Dollar. Yes, this stuff is that important.

Industrial metals are also a big deal as almost everything you buy or use has some type of metal in it. Copper for electrical wires, lead for batteries, aluminum for cans, etc. The list is virtually endless and between the MERC, the NYMEX, and the LME you can trade basically all of it. If you aren't tracking industrial metals then you are not pricing out the number one cost for most manufacturing and industrial companies.

Next up are the agricultural commodities. While some gloss over this section they are actually a huge part of the economy. Do you eat food? Do you drink water? If you answer was yes to either of these questions then you need to pay attention to the ags. If you answered no then call the hospital please. Anyways the ags are important and can be traded based off of the demographics of different nations. Emerging markets are rapidly emerging which is changing the entire supply demand situation of food and water. Monitor and profit from this, or stay ignorant and get unpleasantly surprised.

Obviously commodities are huge part of the global economy. If you are not using and monitoring them you are missing out on some of the biggest puzzle pieces out there. If you are a global macro trader you need to be monitoring all the commodity complexes. - 23218

The Forex Market During This Recession

By Michael Fredericks

The biggest question right now is how the Forex market is being affected during these difficult economical times. It seems that even during a looming recession, Forexs performance is holding steady on the currency market and Forex forecasts are correct.

Although nothing is truly stable at the moment. Being in the market means being prepared for anything. Forex is susceptible if there are big changes, and were nervous as to whether or not we can handle.

Experience in the Forex market does offer some insight, though, because Forex trading is the pure market mechanism at work. The longer one has been trading, the more you will understand that those who make the initial efforts and take the bigger risks reap the bigger rewards.

Even experienced traders, though, have been taken aback by some recent developments. The sharp decline of the dollar prior to the overall drop in the fall of 2008 could not have been foreseen. Forex trading depends on taking action based on events occurring in markets elsewhere. Without a clear view of those events, and the overall situation going in unknown directions, many were unclear on what their next move ought to be. Still, while traders can't control what happens in the world, they can and must control their responses and reactions to it.

Last year saw a succession of collapse similar to dominos. The value of the dollar was not fluctuating. The market gave no hint that the large firms and banks on The Street would soon be revealed as so many naked emperors. When all was revealed, overseas investors had grave doubts about any investment on any timeline, now or going forward, and the heavy downward skidding began.

The conventional wisdom at a time like this would be to turn towards Asia. Asian currencies are seen as strong especially in light of the entire region's growth in terms of both production and of demand. The crowd is going to be pursuing Asian investment because it may be seen by some as a safe bet despite the uncertain times.

There's also the question some are asking, which is what's going on with the Swiss? Things have not bottomed out, most people believe, and in fact some places are just in the early stages of the downturn and could take any number of turns. Is Swiss currency the safe harbor some traders are looking for?

But Asian markets have a reputation for strength in the face of crisis, because such a large market will always have demands for certain commodities. Forex forecasts is aware of the economy shifts taking place and plans to focus more on changing regions, vying to be currency investors and keeping our heads high. - 23218

Investing in Common Stocks

By Michael Swanson

Stocks have in past history earned their investors more money than other choices like money markets and bonds. Basically it's like you're buying a part of a business and investing in them. It's the case of you giving them money to do what they do; your payment is partial ownership of a company.

Most people will deal with what is called common stock. These are stocks that have no sort of restrictions to them, anyone can buy them. Be you a young investor or an investor who is older, common stock could well be the choice for you.

Buying of stock will place you as a shareholder in the company. This is just the way to say you've placed money into stock and now have some say in business decisions. As a business grows the cost of stock will increase, and you will earn money.

As part owner of the business you also will vote in decisions that are made for the company. You will vote when the board of directors is placed together, and you may well have a huge say in which way the company goes in many decisions.

Though you will not always see the pluses when it comes to investing in stocks. If the company hits a rough time or goes out of business you will lose money. At times you may even lose everything you've invested in those stocks.

There are different types of stock too. One of the examples can be a business that is family owned, but they need to find investors, they will put some of those shares in stock and allow it to be sold to the public. In those cases these shares may be said to be either a Class A stock or a Class B stock. To learn even more about stocks be sure to read up more online. - 23218
