Learn Forex: What You Should Know About

By Micheal Clarkson

I truly believe that there is not a single person in this world who cannot learn forex. Whats truly amazing, though is that the of all the people who try it, 95% fail.

I think I can explain why something like this happens. It really has to due with the fact that there are so many traders who really only care about making money. Dont get me wrong. Thats important. However, your main goal when you are first starting out is that you learn the right way to trade. Start with the fundamentals and work your way up.

Im not going to sugarcoat it for you. There are people making 6 and 7 figures a year trading the forex market. However, you have to realize that with this incredible reward comes an equal risk. This doesnt mean that it should all be left to chance. If you really take the time to learn the right decisions to make and taking this very seriously, there is no reason why you cant see success.

You have to remember that trading forex is a one man game. Im not saying you cant have a mentor, but if you are just going to blindly follow their trades, you minus well not even bother trading. My recommendation is to learn what these people have to teach you and from there, you can build your very own forex trading strategy.

I also dont want you to become a sucker for every single trading myth that you hear about. Get it straight. The forex market is not some get rich quick scheme. If thats the kind of philosophy you have, you will crash your account within days. When something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

You need to make sure that when it comes to trading, you shouldnt be working hard, you should be working smart. You dont have to know everything under the sun when it comes to trading. You should be learning all about what will make you successful. Begin with learning about technical analysis.

Another important factor is that you get yourself a trading edge. This is something that will separate you from the 95% of traders who are losing money.

Also, its important that you have the proper kind of mindset if you plan on making the big bucks in forex trading. By using the right principles, you can achieve long term success in this touch industry. - 23218

Money Market Account and CD's Defined

By Sheila Korter

During tough times, it is best to save and put your money in the bank. By saving your money, you are able to prevent yourself from spending too much. Aside from this, another advantage of putting your money in the bank is that you are able to earn a passive income. This means that you earn income without doing anything.

This is possible through the interest you earn from the money you have deposited. If you are serious about saving money and want to earn an ongoing passive income through bank deposits, you should think about several things first. The first thing that you should do is understand the different rates that are available and the terms that go along with those rates.

A money market account is an account that yields interest and also allows the depositer to withdraw funds with short notice or no notice at all. Every bank that offers an account of this type has its own rates and terms and conditions. It is advisable to choose the money market rate that does not only offer high interest rates but also has reasonable terms and conditions that are suitable to your needs and prevailing circumstances.

A CD, on the other hand, is a deposit that yields a higher interest rates compared to a money market account. In return for the higher rate, there are more restrictions in the time and frequency of withdrawing the funds deposited. This is why a CD is also known as a time deposit. The philosophy behind a certificate of deposit is that the depositor earns a higher yield as compared to other interest rates because the depositor is prevented from withdrawing the funds that he or she deposited within the agreed duration of time.

In summary, the two factors you must consider in choosing a money market or a certificate of deposit are the interest rates and the length of time you want to have the money tied up. A high interest rate does not necessarily mean that it is the best deal and sometimes the rates are not what you think they might be. Usually, the higher interest rates are accompanied by stricter conditions. Therefore, you should always study and analyze the terms and conditions imposed if they are suitable to your current situation. - 23218

Forex Trading Hours - They are not the same!

By Steve Maenshel

Forex trading hours are important for anyone who plans to trade currencies at the Forex exchange market. The Forex market operates twenty four hours a day, five days a week, except for national holidays. Forex trading hours differ due to that various major financial institutions operate in different hours in different time zones.

Basically, there are four major zones with various Forex trading hours: Europe, USA, Australia and Asia. Forex opens in Tokyo at 23.00 GMT on Sunday and then in 5 days it closes on Friday at 10 PM in Chicago, thus ending the so-called Forex trading week.

Forex market does not stop its work even during the biggest holidays, because there will always be a region on Earth, which does not considered that day a holiday. The best examples are the opposing Christian and Muslim holidays. When a holiday starts in the Christian regions of the planet, you may simply concentrate your Forex trading hours on the financial centers of the Muslim countries, and vice versa. Even during the "global" holidays, currency trading usually does not just stop. For example, during the Catholic Christmas, you can still get the currency quotes from Muslim countries and other Asian countries banks.

Probably, the only uncomfortable time for your trades is weekends. Even though you can trade on the weekends, the volume of the transactions will be so thin, that you may risk not being able to find a counterpart for your transaction.

Forex is an international currency exchange. This market is continuously working, just like a hive, with zillions of transactions, selling and buying different currencies - Euro, US Dollars, Pounds, Yens, Canadian Dollars and Australian Dollars. You will be able to freely trade on the Forex market within the Forex trading hours.

Forex trading hours were established in order to give employees time for Forex transactions, which is not achievable at the time of active trades, as well as probably to give traders some time to "rest and relax".

Some countries actually get the Forex trading hours falling particularly in the time of the late evening and night. However, in other countries Forex trading hours perfectly fit within the regular business day.

Forex trading hours in the main 4 timezones

Forex trading hours overlap and make up 24 hours of every day, 5 days a week. Trades are also carried out on the weekends. However they are much less active. Below you can take a look at the Forex trading hours in the 4 major time zones, in accordance with Eastern Standard Time:

Tokyo Trading Hours: 19.00 to 04.00

New York, Trading Hours: 08.00 to 17.00 EST

London Trading Hours: 3.00 to 12.00 (noon)

Sydney Trading Hours: 17.00 to 02.00

Forex trading hours are also an important part of a trading strategy, since the trades will differ depending on the Forex trading hours, which you choose to trade at. - 23218

MACD Divergence Explained

By Ahmad Hassam

Understanding and interpreting a MACD divergence can be very helpful in your trading. You may ask what does a MACD Divergence means. Just that the current price trend is running out of steam and soon may reverse direction. Price reversal may not happen right away. But a MACD Divergence is a powerful hint that the market is changing direction. It is easy to spot MACD crossovers and dramatic rises but not so a MACD divergence. Spotting a MACD divergence correctly will only come after practice.

For example, if the price is making a series of higher highs and MACD is making a series of lower lows, something is wrong between the two. What you are looking for is when the price action and MACD do not agree.

Most probably the traders are getting nervous and slowly fading out of their trades. MACD divergence is seen as a sign that fewer and fewer traders are in the trend. No one is trading against the trend and yet fewer and fewer traders are in the trend.

The only traders in the trend are nervous. They are likely to exit their trade at the first sign of trouble. So if MACD is diverging from the bullish trend. As soon as the bears muster up enough guts to short, the bulls will exit and the bears will take over.

There are two powerful keys in locating times when MACD divergence is likely to represent a reversal in price. This is exactly why MACD is so powerful. It takes time to setup but when it works, it often works well.

Suppose the price action is at the double tops or double bottoms. MACD divergence can be powerful. You spot MACD divergence at this point. This is known as Exhaustion Pullback. You are making your trading plan based on the bounce/reversal or breakout of the support and resistance (S&R).

You should trade now based on rejection reversal. This is a sign that the price action is running out of steam. This indicates that there are not enough committed traders to break the support and resistance (S&R).

When MACD is used as an overbought/ oversold indicator, you see that it has reached its overbought/ oversold range and the price action is turning normal. This is a signal that you should avoid trading at this time.

Dont think that the currency pair is overbought and everyone is buying. However, when the price reaches its extreme, you will see price exhaust and the MACD line drop back into normal zone. Dont confuse the overbought/ oversold MACD zones as trade opportunities.

Divergence can not only be found on the MACD line and the signal line, it can also be found on the histogram. You should note this important point. The two situations described above along with your other technical indicators can provide excellent trading opportunities to you. Master MACD divergence! - 23218

Review Of Forex Megadroid

By Jake Levvy

Theres a trading robot that gets released every month so if youre looking for one, you wouldnt have any problem finding one. But the catch is that these trading robots usually operate very similarly so if you are looking for one that is one of a kind, thats when youll encounter a problem. Of all the many trading robots released, Forex Megadroid is the newest of the batch having been released just last March 31, 2009.

What really is Forex Megadroid and what sets it apart from the hundreds of trading robots out there?

For one, what sets Forex Megadroid apart from the countless automated stock picking robots out there in the market is that it uses present trading information to base its trading patterns to and then tweak it appropriately after its assessments. This is all so that it can come up with results that are more accurate and allow you to earn much more.

What the old trading robots did was to simply analyze past foreign exchange market information and then trade according to its assessment. Since it isnt aimed at the present conditions, these old trading robots have a considerable margin of error when it comes to its picks.

Forex Megadroid was created by two trading experts, John Grace and Albert Pierre, who both have a background of over 30 years of trading experience.

Their design of Forex Megadroid is commendable since it is the only trading robot available in the market right now that uses RCTPA (Reverse Correlated Time and Price Analysis) technology. Because of this technological advantage, Forex Megadroid is thought to outwit the other trading robots with its 95% rate of accuracy.

But just because it boasts of the newest technology available to trading robots, it doesnt mean that it is only for those with advanced computer skills. In fact, Forex Megadroid is one of the few trading robots that have a user friendly interface. You only need to follow the simple instructions to start running the program.

To top it all up, Forex Megadroid offers a virtual money account for all of its users who wish to test the program but not want to risk losing money. The virtual cash amounts up to $100 so that users can really see if the software does live up to its promises.

For all that it only costs $97 and you can have a refund within the first 60 days if you think you wont make profits with the program. - 23218
